Our Programme Facilitators

Our Facilitators come from a wide range of different backgrounds. A good many, in fact, took up Davis Programmes as a vocation after experiencing the power of a Programme first-hand, either personally or as a parent.

Our Facilitators work in a variety of settings but always take trouble to provide a domestic-style environment in which their clients can feel safe, comfortable and nurtured.

All our Facilitators are fully trained in the Davis methods and are licensed and certified by Davis Dyslexia Association International. Training involves a minimum of 450 hours of closely supervised on-site training and distance learning assignments and lasts from one to two years.

A key emphasis of training is on observational skills, interpersonal sensitivity, and the art of motivation. All our Facilitators are expert at creating a safe, positive and inspiring learning environment for each and every Programme client. They understand each client is an individual and are committed to making each Programme a success.

In addition to the basic Davis Programmes, some of our Facilitators also have expertise in specialised areas such as mastery of music or modern languages.
